Mumma, let me support you when you need it most.
Before undertaking any level of support, I’d love for us to meet beforehand to get a feel for each other and see if we ‘click’. Chemistry is important - I’m going to be supporting you and one (or more) of the most precious things in your life, so it has to feel right.
To find out how hiring a Doula will benefit you and your family, I offer a free initial consultation (45 minute) to talk through my packages and answer any questions you may have.
pre-planning support
You’ve read all the books, taken the classes, downloaded the apps and written your birth plan. Now it's time to take a moment and think about what comes after your baby is born and you arrive home with your precious bundle. This session will ensure you are prepared and organised for the fourth trimester.
During this two hour private session, we chat about your specific needs and create a plan to ensure during the postpartum period you are supported, able to rest and spend your time bonding with your baby.
Help includes: organising the nursery essentials, bathing options and change table safety/locations, getting home from the hospital, setting up a schedule of support with friends and family, stocking up the pantry, a tailored information sheet on local support providers, services and networking groups for new mums and much more.
birth support
Your Body, Your Baby, Your Birth
A birth Doula is an integral part of your care team. Constantly by your side, someone who knows you, understands your birth wishes, who will calmly and quietly guide you, and hold the space to ensure you have a positive birth experience.
During our time getting to know one another and establishing a genuine connection before your baby arrives, I will help you feel fully informed of your birth choices, options and rights. I’ll work to ensure that you have a clear understanding of the relation between the sensations and physiological processes of labouring and birth.
Support during labour looks and feels differently for everyone - a reassuring hand on your shoulder, relieving massage, relaxation-hypnotherapy techniques, suggestions of different positions, that knowing supportive look in your eye when it feels too much… I will be beside you.

online support
You, me and baby makes three (if your precious little one has already arrived!)
Together we find a good time to chat online - you may be pregnant, thinking about the birth, just arrived home with your newborn or trying to make sense of your toddlers sudden adjustment antics!
It might be to chat about…
: unexpected changes during your pregnancy you now need to understand and navigate through
: you feel like you want to change your birth plan and want to feel supported in that decision
: birthing options - however you decide to birth your baby being informed to make it positive
: you may be struggling to establish feeding - breast or bottle - or expressing techniques
: learning to read your baby cues and non verbal communication
: wanting a little extra guidance on day to day caring for your newborn
: looking after you - our emotional balance - the one we all experience in some degree but cant work out if it is ‘normal’ while our hormones run crazy and sleep eludes us. It is hard having a new baby, it is normal to be on a rollercoaster of emotions, but sometimes it can feel like that wave is going to swamp you and the bravest thing you can do is to talk to someone about it.
This time is your time - my focus is completely on you, how you are truly feeling, your worries, your thoughts and be in a safe space to let it all go. Together we will work through your questions, look for possible options, smart survival strategise and I will wrap you up in my virtual embrace.
Cost: £20 (45 minute session)
postnatal support
There is magic in it, the fourth trimester - I feel humbled to be invited in to my families homes and lives to support them. Watching women come into their own as mothers is a thing of beauty.
Giving birth is just the beginning: new parents need solid support, smart survival strategies and, most of all, compassionate care. I’m here to listen and hold space, offer game plans, suggest options and remind you that you have exactly what your baby needs.
You might decide while you're still pregnant that you'd like my support, or you might not get in touch until after your baby is born. You may live far from your family support network, having your baby on your own, a planned abdominal birth, whatever it might be trust me, support is vital.
My approach is holistic: I believe deeply that every element of you needs to be nurtured and nourished equally. I will create calm reassuring space while supporting you emotionally and practically and encouraging you to squeeze out at least ten minutes a day for just you - not to for life necessities like taking a shower or meals - but things that connect you to you. That make you smile.
Every day can look at little different because your needs will be changing daily. At the start of each visit, we will catch up and chat about what you would like to do that day. It might be tackling a new skill like swaddling styles, breastfeeding support, sorting out the house, getting the laundry on, whipping up a meal or sometimes, it is simply having someone to truly listen to you on a tough day.
I believe every woman deserves a fourth trimester that is restful, nourishing, respectful and rejuvenating.

overnight support
Sweet sleep where have you gone! Welcome to the 24 hour clock of new baby world.
Let me take the night shift so you can sleep soundly, knowing that your baby is in expert hands.
The goal of overnight support is to provide you with as much uninterrupted sleep as possible so you, and your partner, can wake rested and enjoy your baby during the day.
If you are breastfeeding, I will bring baby to you to nurse and then take care of the burping, changing, and settling back down, minimising your wake-up time and allowing you to get back to sleep more quickly. If baby is taking a bottle you can sleep peacefully the whole night through.
Sleep allows your body to recover from the birth, establish-replenish your milk supply, ensure your days are not a hazy blur and helps to manage the low mood that lack of sleep can bring.
Overnight support is provided in 8 hour shifts, usually beginning between 8pm and 10pm.

baby massage
“Touch is the first language we teach” ..stephen Gaskin
The nurturing touch of massage creates a deep bond between you and your baby that lasts a lifetime.
Baby massage communicates respect, safety and establishes trust through the stroking of muscles using a flow of specialised massage techniques. I trained with Connected Babies with The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), founded by Vimala McClure, who was the first person to put together a professional program in 1976. The program draws from both the Indian and Swedish massage traditions as well as incorporating principles from yoga and reflexology.
I will guide you through the series of massage techniques in the IAIM program covering the whole body and specific focus for relieving discomfort from colic-reflux, teething and constipation. Encouraging a relaxed state for deeper more relaxed sleep and calm-connected awake periods.
By massaging your baby are promoting social, emotional and cognitive development while establishing a life long skill which you can adapt as your children grow.
*Postnatal Support includes some baby massage techniques*
